MAP testing will begin Wednesday, October 14 for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Your child’s teacher will provide you with more detailed information. The link below will take you to the MAP Platform Training Session hosted on September 30. All parents will need to assist students with setting up their devices for MAP Testing. The Assessment Administration Department has detailed helpful information and tools for parents/guardians as they partner with schools during the remote Fall MAP administration. It is located on the DeKalb County School District’s site: https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/nwea-map/

The Free & Reduce Meal application process is another pandemic challenge facing School Districts across the nation.
We are asking parents to complete the Free & Reduced Meal application for SY 20-21. Currently, School Nutrition Department (SNS) is not meeting the quota for receiving meal applications this year. During the previous school year as of 10/5/2019, SNS processed 21,776 household applications versus 8, 891 applications processed to date.
The district receives valuable funding such as Title I, E-Rate and other funding resources annually based on October 31st Free & Reduced data. All parents must submit a new application every year to receive meal benefits. We need all parents to apply as soon as possible. Applications can be completed online at www.schoolcafe.com
