Hello HMES Community

We have missed everyone and hope that you all have been safe and healthy.  Now that virtual registration is open ( http://www.hendersonmilles.dekalb.k12.ga.us/, we ask you to please consider joining Henderson Mill PTA as members this year.  For only $10, your annual dues include our local Henderson Mill PTA unit, as well as the Georgia PTA and National PTA.  These dues and additional donations are used for the enrichment of the school, including supplies and awards for academic and cultural programs, appreciation activities, field day, and school grounds.

A PTA membership helps you to stay informed of school news and events, as well as child advocacy issues. It provides access to tools and resources on academic and parenting topics, as well as discounts for certain national brands.  Most importantly, it enables you to participate in the life of the school, help support your student’s education, and improve the community as a whole.

At the local level, the Henderson Mill PTA concentrates on the specific needs of our neighborhood school, Henderson Mill Elementary. We focus on bridging home and school with communication, monthly themed event nights, school grounds & safety, teacher & staff appreciation, as well as creating an annual yearbook.  We hope you can bring your unique experiences and interests to help the school in the ways that best work for you.

Again this year we will be using Membership Toolkit for our Directory, Online Sales, Volunteer Sign-Ups and Communications.
