PTA Executive Board Meeting is this Thursday at 7:00 am.
The PTA Board will have their first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 10th. Note that these meetings are open to the HMES Community.

General PTA Meeting, Title I Stakeholder Meeting, and Curriculum Night (Virtual)
Henderson Mill will host a General PTA meeting and Title I Stakeholder meeting along with Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 10 at 6:00 pm, virtually.
PTA will host their general meeting to review new officers and the 2020-2021 budget. The Title I Stakeholder meeting will follow to review our schoolwide goals and gather stakeholder input. We will conclude the evening with Curriculum Night. Parents will visit with your child’s teacher to learn more about their grade level curriculum. Look for the Zoom link next week.

School Pictures
September is the time when we would normally do school pictures for our yearbook. We are excited that we have the opportunity to offer school pictures as a Pop Up/ Drive Through option this year.

Multicultural Recognition Week
We are excited to be able to celebrate the many cultures of Henderson Mill Elementary School! This year, it will be a virtual collaboration, highlighting the diversity of our HMES community. The Multicultural Celebration can only be successful with your help. We will be compiling all countries represented at our school & sharing pictures & recipes!
- What country/culture does your family celebrate?
- Traditional/Cultural pictures of family, gatherings, clothing or artifacts.
- Recipes of traditional foods, appetizers, entrees & desserts – pictures if you have it too!
