MAP Testing

Henderson Mill will have a MAP Practice session on Wednesday, October 7 for Grades 3d, 4th and 5th.  Please see review the MAP testing information that have been sent to you by your child’s teacher.  You will also need to review the MAP Setup Training video sent on Wednesday, September 30 in Class Dojo or in the school email.

Students MUST have their cameras on while testing.  This is to ensure students are working independently and working

in an appropriate testing environment.

Henderson Mill Elementary will host our Annual Title 1 Meeting and Google Classroom Parent Workshop.

Come and hear about the wonderful things that happen at Henderson Mill and learn more about our Title I program.

An interpreter will be present at the meeting.

Walk to School – See PTA

HMES is excited to partner with Oak Tree Photography to offer drive-through fall school pictures. Parents will remain in the car while students take their pictures. Masks are required until it is time to smile for the camera! Pictures will be taken:

Monday, October 5th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Tuesday, October 6th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Wednesday, October 7th from 9:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 6:30pm
Thursday, October 8th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Friday, October 9th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm

A $3 sitting is required for each student and will be applied to the purchase of pictures. Parents are welcome to reserve an additional time for sibling photos, with an additional $3 sitting fee. Siblings do not have to be HMES students.
