Dear Henderson Mill Families,

The school year is quickly approaching, and we are diligently planning and preparing for Monday, August 17.  I will be sending important information over the next few days as we prepare.  Please remember that there are lots of moving parts to opening the school year virtually and some items are subject to change.  WE are all working hard to transition to a positive virtual environment.

The district will provide Chromebooks to all students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.  The Chromebook distribution will take place on Tuesday, August 11, and Wednesday, August 12.  On Friday, August 14, we will distribute Chromebooks to all students who were unable to come on the previous days.

With the safety of all in mind, a schedule has been developed to maintain social distancing and to minimize traffic around the school building. Families will pick up items by last name in alphabetical order. We are asking all families to adhere to the schedule below. The exception to the schedule below would be if you have children with different last names. In that case, you can choose a time assigned to your children to come pick up the Chromebooks. On all three days, all parents and students will remain in their cars when picking up Chromebooks at the school. All cars will remain in the carpool line and the items will be brought to your car. DO NOT park and/or leave your car for any reason.

FEWER PEOPLE IN YOUR CAR MAKE THIS PROCESS SAFER!

All items must be picked up within the time slot allotted.

Families will pick up items in alphabetical order (by last name).

Chromebooks are for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade only at this time.

All families must submit a Device User Agreement.  It would be helpful to bring your Device User Agreement completed with you. (Only pages 3 and 4)

The district will provide devices for PreK-2; however, they have not arrived at this time. 

Information will be sent when these devices are available.
