Dear Families of Henderson Mill Elementary School,
Thanksgiving 2020 may look quite a bit different for many of us this year. Those in our community have been affected by the downturn in the economy due to COVID-19. Because of this, your family may be in need of a little extra to get you through this Thanksgiving week. The Snax Sax Program at Embry Hills UMC will be handing out food boxes on Monday, November 23 from 2-3pm.
To guarantee your family a box, fill out the following form by Sunday, November 22nd–Click on the link. https://forms.gle/pap6fBp9t3JEouKG6
When you arrive, please follow the signs to pick up the food boxes.

NO SCHOOL – Monday, November 23 – 27
We have made it to Thanksgiving Break!!
I would like to personally thank our parents, caregivers, and students for working so hard in our virtual learning environment.
We have all earned a break and some much-needed rest.
We all have spent countless hours pouring into our students and Henderson Mill. We have been finding our way this school year
and making the best of our pandemic situation because this truly been a year like no other.
Take this Thanksgiving break to spend time resting and relaxing and appreciating your many blessings. We sometimes don’t take
time to appreciate the small things in life like the sunrise, the quiet of the night, and the beauty of the fallen leaves.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break by just slowing down and unplugging from the computer.
I wish each of you a happy and safe Thanksgiving break. Stay safe!!
